Travel and Accommodation

Students must make their own travel, accommodation and food arrangements. Accommodation options include student rooms at the Urbino university campus, located within walking distance and outside of Urbino city walls. Students may check the campus rooms availability and complete the booking using this form. In order to complete an advance booking, the accommodation costs must be paid by bank transfer prior to arrival.

Students may also book a room at any of the Urbino hotels and B&Bs, by contacting the accommodations directly or via booking sites of their choice.

Transportation

Students can reach Urbino by flying to the nearby airports - Rimini, Ancona and Bologna. Students flying to Rome, Milan, or Venice, will reach Urbino by train, arriving to Pesaro station at the sea. Students will then continue inland, by boarding a direct local bus connecting Pesaro to Urbino hourly, running multiple times per hour. Taxis are equally available. Urbino is a small walled city with picturesque but often very steep streets. Within the city no transportation is required, as all points of interest are within walking distance.

Food

Urbino is famous not only for its Renaissance history but also for its gastronomy. Food is simply delicious and inexpensive and is available at local bars, trattorias and restaurants within the city and beyond. A lunch break is scheduled to last one hour daily, enabling the students to make their own meal arrangements.
